I’m Daniel Crockett, an electrical improver based in Staplehurst. I have a City & Guilds Level 2 Distinction, I’m currently studying Level 3, and my NVQ funding is arranged. I have my own electric van and I’m available for work now.
I’m looking for electrical improver or electrician’s mate work with an experienced contractor. I want to build practical experience under appropriate supervision while completing my Level 3 qualification and NVQ. My NVQ funding and administration are already arranged, so I mainly need consistent, suitable on-site hours.
I made a deliberate career change into the electrical trade after working in a range of practical, technical and public-facing roles. I self-funded my City & Guilds Level 2 and passed with Distinction, bought my own van and moved straight on to Level 3. I’m dependable, comfortable working as part of a team and keen to learn from experienced electricians while developing into a fully qualified electrician.
Alongside my electrical training, I build useful digital tools for the trade. Graftery is a workspace for UK tradespeople, Ohmwork is an exam-preparation app for City & Guilds electrical qualifications, and sparx.work is a free UK job board for electricians and improvers.
